London - November 22, 2018 - Harvey Nash Plc, the global technology recruitment and IT outsourcing organisation, have been shortlisted for three prestigious awards in recognition of its leading role in championing diversity and inclusion.
As part of the Business Culture Awards, the Group has been shortlisted in the categories for both 'Business Culture Diversity and Inclusion' and 'Business Culture Team'. The Group is also shortlisted in the 'Corporate and Social Responsibility Practitioners of the Year' category at the tenth annual IRP Awards.
Harvey Nash shares its shortlisting with some highly respected peer including Sky, the Home Office, Capgemini, the Post Office and Dr Martens.
The shortlisting reflects over a decade's worth of commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion - a milestone in this journey was the achievement of EY's National Equality Standard in 2016. Building on this success Harvey Nash launched Inclusion 360 - where it has taken the knowledge and passion it has applied internally, to help its external clients on their inclusive journeys.
Through this approach, Harvey Nash not only facilitate knowledge sharing with a wide range of organisations, there is also commitment to raising awareness internally and embedding good practice into client services and the recruitment and development of talent at Harvey Nash.
Amanda Faull, Head of Inclusion 360, said:
"It has been wonderful to witness the spread of the Inclusion 360 movement across Harvey Nash and the UK. What started as a pilot in London, has reached hundreds of employers and now underpins all of our events, thought leadership, training and communications. This success is owed to the passion and dedication of the team of ambassadors, who volunteer their time each month to plan and run activities, including sessions to educate their teams.
"It feels like we're just getting started, but have a powerful means to engage our staff and support other businesses and our clients at the same time - itβs pretty special."
The winners will be announced at both awards evenings on Thursday 29th November at the Royal Garden Hotel and Royal Lancaster London respectively.
